Made of Sahara sand and Caribbean waters, inhabited by European seasons, shaped by the vibrations of the beings I have encountered along my path
Imagined during the Belgian step of the Magpie mobile studio 2025, i did the first try of this new collection on the road. I played with folds, wrinkles, ripples, and other textures that bear witness to time and geography.
My wrinkles are the memory ripples from all my smiles, kisses, tears, and laughters, the undulating map of all the places I have been and lived, the traces left by all those beings who made me vibrating.
They are made of Sahara sand and Caribbean waters, inhabited by European seasons, shaped by the vibes of women, men, animals, rocks, and trees that I have encountered along my path or are still part of my life.
A mood board of inspiration, my mobile studio for some days, work in progress taking print, exhibition of the work in progress and the first pieces, the result.
